As the Moruca Expo kicks off today, one of the main attractions will be the pageant, where five young ladies from various villages will take centre stage on Saturday evening. The pageant is slated for the Kumaka Recreational Ground, Santa Rosa, Region One (Barima-Waini).
The talented young ladies vying for the crown are Miss Manawarin, Merona Fredericks; Miss Kwebana, Ashana Trim; Miss Santa Cruz, Adonica Millington; Miss Santa Rosa, Judy Rodrigues and Miss Warapoka, Fianna Rodrigues. On pageant night, the delegates will be competing in several segments including traditional wear, talent, intelligence, evening gown, swim wear, and the final question. Apart from the pageant, there will be a well packed cultural extravaganza that will cater for all in attendance.
