All set for Boxing Day Horse Racing Extravaganza

Despite the weather, the Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club at Bushlot Farm is in perfect condition for the annual Boxing Day eight-race spectacular.

More than 70 horses are registered for the eight-race programme and Justice Kennard is pleased to announce that a prompt start at 13:00h is expected.
Stag Beer, Digicel, DDL and Metro Office and Computer Supplies are among the major partners for the 44th edition of the horse racing Christmas Holiday tradition.  The feature event is for horses classified B and Lower running over a distance of nine furlongs for a $1.2M winning purse.
Another memorable day of horse racing is expected when horses such as CP Got Even, Score’s Even, Kings Knight, Just Call Me Boss, Princess She Not, Golden Blue Echo, Plum plum Goodwill Boy, Lady Budapest, Climate Change, Blame the Jockey, Jack in My Style, Because I Say So, Bridal Stone Corner Super Cat, Royal Jet, Perfect Gold, King Stanley, Awesome Cash and Flash Again take to the starting gates. Spit Fire who was ridden by jockey Colin Ross is the defending champion
