NEW GPC launches Children’s Phanadyl Multi-symptom Cold and Flu

The 15th Annual Pharmacists’ Convention was hosted on Sunday at the Marriott Hotel in Kingston, where hundreds of Guyanese pharmacists gathered to share their opinions in the areas of paediatric medicine, emergency medicine and thyroid disorders. The well attended event was hosted by the Guyana Pharmacists’ and was declared opened by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Shamdeo Persaud. At the one day event numerous pharmaceutical companies including NEW GPC INC, POEM, Mead Johnson, Federated Pharmaceutical and ASPEN gave presentations.

Michael Stuart representing NEW GPC made an informative educational presentation on Fever, Cold and Flu Management in Children, which laid the platform for the introduction of the company’s new Children’s Phanadyl Multi-symptom Cold and Flu. Local pharmaceutical manufacturer NEW GPC INC used the opportunity to launch the Children’s Phanadyl Multi-symptom Cold and Flu.

Attendees visited the sponsors’ booths and interacted with the representatives during the breaks. NEW GPC’s unconventional display booth, in particular, received an influx of interest with pharmacists and doctors visiting to get a closer look of the new products. The Children’s Phanadyl Multi-symptom Cold and Flu, Xcite Sildenafil Citrate tablet and BabyCare Gripe Water were among the top products of interest. Other notables included Atorvastatin, Atenolol and Metformin Hydrochloride tablets.

Many who visited the NEW GPC booth interacted with the representatives providing valuable feedbacks while benefiting from merchandises and samples from the first batch of the Children’s Phanadyl. The Children’s Multi-symptom is an extension of the popular PHANADYL brand. The brand includes the Phanadyl Tablets and Phanadyl Paediatric elixir, which are widely distributed through the public healthcare system and administered to children across the length and breadth of Guyana.
