Before this encounter, the Caribbean Sensation-sponsored 10-10 final will be played between top team Dant and Betterhope at the same venue. In the consolation category, East Coast will collide with Caribbean Sensation X1 commencing at 09:00 am on two separate pitches.

Hemnarine, a former Guyana and West Indies Under-19 batsman, will also be featuring for Dant. Dant has been in phenomenal form since the commencement of the OSCL season in all three versions (10, 15 and 20-overs).

Ex-West Indies opening batsman Sewnarine Chattergoon, is the second of the four brothers while Ramnarine Chattergoon, another first-class player, is the other Chattergoon brother.

Those included Damodar Daesrath, Krishna Deosaran, Rovendra Mandolall, Trevon Garraway, Shaun Deonandan, Riaz Kadir, Aftab Shamsudeen (Canada International player), Eion Katchay among others.

“We [are] delighted to have another Family Day Event and with these two matches in place, we can expect the same level of excitement come Saturday; we have invited representatives from the Guyana Consulate in Toronto and the wider Guyanese diaspora to be part of the event,” Ramcharran declared.
