Fathers’ Day knockout tape ball tournament Sunday

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ministry Sports Promotion will be hosting one of its biggest ever tape ball competition on Sunday at the National Culture Centre Tarmac starting from 9:00h.
According to a release, the event is part of the organisers’ “Fathers’ Day” treat and will have the Minister of Social Protection trophy , medals and as ,000 for the winning team.
The runners up will receive ,000 and a trophy, while there will be special prizes for the bowler with the most wickets in the final and the batsman with the most runs in the final.
The competition is open to all teams; however, national players cannot participate in this knockout event. Entrance fee per team is ten thousand dollars (,000). Registration closes tomorrow and interested teams could reach James Lewis on 628-1656 or 666-5857 for more details.
