Olympic Day is deemed a day for the world to get active, learn about Olympic values and discover new sports. To uphold this global tradition the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) is extending invitation to Olympic sports disciplines to commemorate Olympic Day 2017.
Starting at 14:00h today at Georgetown cricket Club Turf, Shivnarine Chanderpaul Drive, Bourda, participants will be exposed to various fun field hockey skills and play in field hockey’s newest game format Hockey 5s. Each Olympic sport should have a minimum of five participants in each of the following categories: Under 13 Mixed, Under 16 Boys & Girls, Under 19 Boys & Girls, Open Men & Women and Over 35 Mixed.
