Guyanese artist to launch debut album titled “You” tomorrow at National Park

The National Park is the place to be this Saturday evening for one of the most dynamic gospel concerts in recent times. The concert is  titled ‘You Album Launch concert’. Renowned Guyanese gospel singer, Saiku Andrews will launch his album titled “You”.
Actually, Saiku Andrews was spotted for his talent by Jamaican music producer, Danny Brownie and worked with him on several original tunes which were then made into an album. Brownie has been producing music for the some big names, including UB-40, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and others.
However, on the night of the launch, several high quality artistes are expected to take the stage, including Kevin Downswell and Prodigal Son out of Jamaica; Anil Azeez; Kester D; Trenacia Esseboom;  Eion Greaves; Melissa Vandeyar; Solid Youth; and Earl Bishop out of Guyana.
In addition, London-based Atta Boafo will be performing as well as Sean Sobers, Pex Gospel Band, Toisha Andrews and Shawn English.
Tickets for the show cost $1500 but upon entry into the National Park, ticket holders will be given a free CD. Tickets can be picked up at Andrew’s Supermarket, Aubrey Barker Road; Kester D Music Centre, Orange Walk; Church’s Chicken; Giftland Mall and Julia’s Variety Store, Regent Street.
The event is promoted by Plus Entertainment. Gates to the venue open at 16:00h and the show gets underway at 18:00h.
