KPL fundraiser continues at 3 venues

The cricket tournament specially organized to raise funds for Samuel Kingston who was injured last November continues on Sunday at three venues in Georgetown.

Organization ground requires US$5,000 for eye surgery in Trinidad and the Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) is using this tournament to acquire the funds.

The tournament opened last Sunday with Masters matches at Everest Cricket Club and Open games at the Carifesta Sports Complex ground. Tomorrow, three venues will be used for the 12 matches to be played.

At Everest, Mike’s Wellman take on Ariel Masters on Pitch One from 10:00h, Success Masters tackle Parika Amazon on Pitch two while Regal Masters play Savage Masters on Pitch Three. In the afternoon from 13:00h, Success Masters engage Ariel Masters on Pitch One, Mike’s Wellman take on Savage Masters on Pitch Two and Regal Masters battle Parika Amazon.

Over at the GNIC ground in Woolford Avenue, Farm XI come up against Regal All-Stars at 09:00h then Regal will be back in action again at 11:00h when they take on Super Stars. At 14:00h Super Stars play their second match of the day when they take on Success XI.

More Open action goes down at the Carifesta Sports Complex with Mike’s All-Stars playing three matches on the trot. At 09:00h they open against Pigeon XI then at 11:00h Success XI will be their opponents followed by Farm XI at 14:00h.
