Two days after a rape accused managed to escape from the Lusignan Prison, police on Friday have confirmed that he was re-apprehended along the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
The man of Kumuni Creek Demerara River, West Bank Demerara was discovered missing on Wednesday morning after a verification exercise was conducted at the prison. He had been admitted to prison in July 24, 2017 on several rape charges.
Meanwhile, Police are still hunting for the three remaining prison escapees, Bartica Massacre murder convict, Mark Durant Williams aka Smallie, Cobena Stephens (both of whom escaped from the Camp Street Prison) and Lusignan Prison escapee, Paul Goriah.
