The original charge stated that both men between November 16 and December 21, 2014, murdered Theresa Rozario, Feresa Rozario and Hilrod Randolph Thomas, in the course or furtherance of arson at a dwelling house.
The dead sisters and their father were burned to death after the fire engulfed their home and completely ravaged the building.
The two men were arrested and charged with the murders after a drug addict, an accomplice to the crime, confessed to Police that he was paid and ordered to commit the act.
On the fateful day, the family was reportedly asleep when the house was set on fire. However, Thomas escaped through a window. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to reports, the house at the time was the subject of an ongoing dispute between Krishna and the family.
An eyewitness had told Police that the men arrived at the house in a car after which they set it alight, re-entered the car and made good their escape.
