President, Vice President teams go head to head today

The rainy season seems over and the ruggers are once again gearing up for some more excitement today at the national park rugby field with some 15s action. The President and Vice President agree to disagree as their teams will go head to head, shoulder to shoulder in decision making, from the executive desk to the field form 16:00h.

The match fills the gap left by the postponement of the Guinness Sevens (7s) which was schedule for today. The teams will follow a similar combination like the

North versus South encounter which took place last week at the same venue. It will once again have the mix of national players with the young brigade who seem bent on dethroning the seniors. This was evident last week when majority of the tries scored were at the hands of the youths.

Guyana still continues its rigorous preparation for one of the oldest Sevens tournament in the world, the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.

For today’s showpiece, players and officials from all clubs are asked to turn up on time for a prompt kick off at 16:00h at the National Park’s Rugby Field.
