Quarter-finals slated for this Sunday

UCCA/ NPG Packaging & Plastic Inc T20

The NPG Packaging and Plastic Inc T20 cricket competition in the Upper Corentyne/Black Bush Polder area has reached the quarter-final stage with No. 48 Challengers, No. 70 ‘A’, No. 72 All Stars and No. 70 M.Y.O being the zone winners in the preliminary rounds. The other teams to reach the quarterfinals are No. 69 Vikings, Yakusari Caribs, Skeldon and for the final spot the Upper Corentyne Cricket Association (UCCA) is reviewing a protest between No. 71 and Corriverton which will be made in time for the match.

The fixtures will see in quarter-final One; No. 48 Challengers tackling Skeldon at the No. 48 ground; in quarterfinal number two, No. 70 M.Y.O battle Yakusari Caribs at No. 70 M.Y.O ground while in quarterfinal three, No. 70 A come up against either No. 71 or Corriverton at No. 70 while in the final quarterfinal, No. 72 All Star will take on No. 69 Vikings at No. 72. All matches will start at 13:00h.
The semi-finals will be played on November 6, 2016, at a venue (s) to be announced with the winner of quarter-final one playing the winner of quarter-final four in the first semi-final and the winner of quarter-final two taking in the winner of quarter-final three in semi-final two.
