Dear Editor,
I would like to bring attention to a situation that has been happening at the Patentia Primary School, West Band Demerara. There are a few sellers outside of the school but there is one in particular who is in the habit of bulling children to buy from her and calling them names when they do not support her.
This situation was reported to the teachers and the Parent Teacher Association of that school. Several parents already went to the head teacher and reported this behaviour but the situation remains the same. This woman has gone as far as calling a child a perverted name. It is upsetting to think that an adult working in an environment with children and using those kind of words. I am highly upset about this situation and would like for something to be done to protect and prevent this from happening to more children.
