Suriname demolish Guyana in badminton

In probably Guyana’s worst display in badminton in recent years, they lost all their

singles and doubles matches to Suriname yesterday at the National Gymnasium on day two of Inter Guiana Games.
Missing their most celebrated player, Narayan Ramdhani, who is currently in Canada on scholarship, the Guyanese were stunned in two singles and three doubles matches, losing a total of five matches.

In the boys’ singles, Jonathan Mangra lost to his Suriname counterpart Juan Delprado. In the Girls singles Priyana Ramdhani went down to Santusha Ramzan. While Guyana lost the Girls doubles, the boys doubles and the mixed doubles.
