“White Shorts: Soca Glow Party” for this Saturday at Dutch Bottle Café

To warm up for Mashramani 2017, the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) is set to host its fundraising pre-Mash “White Shorts: Soca Glow Party” this Saturday, February 18, at the Dutch Bottle Café, located at 10 North Road, Georgetown.

Mix Master Tony will keep revellers energised with the best and latest in soca music. The revelries start at 21:00h and partygoers are encouraged to wear theirmash 1 best ‘white shorts’ and come ready to fete the night away as Dutch Bottle is transformed into the perfect Mash celebration.

Limited pre-sold tickets cost $1500 and can be purchased from Oasis Cafe, 125 Carmichael Street; Vintage Wine Bar & Lounge, 218 Lamaha Street; and SASOD’s office, 203 Duncan Street, Lamaha Gardens. Admission at the door is $2000.

All proceeds from this fundraiser go to SASOD’s LGBT Emergency Shelter Fund to provide facilities which facilitate urgent support for LGBT victims of violence in Guyana.
