WICCBVI names squad for World T20

In an attempt to capture the T20 World Cup of Cricket for the Blind and Visually impaired title the West Indies Cricket Committee for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WICCBVI) has named a 16 member squad.
It is the second time the event will be hosted and this time the stage is set for India, starting with the opening ceremony on Monday 30 January 2017 in Delhi India and concluding with the finals in Bengaluru on February 12th 2016.

The following is the list of players and officials travelling as part of the Caribbean contingent.
The B1 sight category are those with no vision. B1-Anthony Cummins – Barbados, Jason Ricketts and Marlon Cole – Jamaica, Ganesh Singh and Leroy Phillips – Guyana.
The B2 category are those with limited vision who may still require assistance. B2-Ricardo Manning and Kci Ward Ryan and Mark Goddard – Barbados, Gregory Stewart, Caneel Graham and Alvin James – Jamaica
B3 category are those players with enough vision to move around independently. B3-Haldene Forde – Barbados Dennol Shim, Lo-Shane Myles and Mark Sweeney – Jamaica, Kevin Douglas – Guyana.
The management team will come from: Stevenson Evelyn Manager, Glendon Coke-Coach. Carrison Henry, Physio.  In addition, Bhawani Persad will also be in India to undertake the following; Attend the annual general meeting of WBC LTD as a delegate representing the WICCBVI board, be a ground commentator at matches, prepare and provide summary of matches to the regional media, member agencies, and a number of web sites and work along with the hosting agency by assisting with any tasks assigned at the tournament.
