GEM, Guyana’s premier lifestyle and entertainment magazine since 2004, will be revealing shortly its much anticipated 4th annual list of professionals under the age of 40. The goal of the magazine which is to target progressive people, said as with previous lists, the make-up consists of top career oriented individuals, entrepreneurs and other influencers with varying backgrounds.
Making the cut this year was a Deputy Mayor, a Member of Parliament, webmasters, dentists, event planners, media and marketing executives, comedians, an international model, and inspirational speaker and representatives from many other industries. The thirty-nine individuals chosen who also grace the cover were selected from a list derived from the magazine’s team, voluntary submissions and recommendations from clients and readers.
As has become the norm, nearly one hundred names were available to choose from, and this created some difficulty in deciding on the standouts, since the aim was to be as inclusive and as diverse as possible. The 74th edition of the magazine also has features on the Georgetown Chamber, Designer Roger Gary’s famous Aqua Couture collection, the Rupununi Wildlife Research Unit and much more.
In addition, readers can expect to see all the usual articles that they have grown accustomed to reading over the years.
