EC Chutney night The Lusignan Community Centre Ground on the East Coast of Demerara will come alive this Saturday with the hosting of East Coast Chutney Night 2017. The event is being promoted by Aamir Khan and it expected to be epic, with several energetic local artistes taking to the stage.
In addition, the reinvigorated Shakti String Orchestra will also be performing with its lead singers Steven Ramphal and Roger Bowen. Others slated to perform are Ken Rock, Vicardi Singh, Aw Lyrical, Nishal B, former chutney King Bunty Singh and his son, reigning Chutney Queen Vanita Willie and the promoter himself, Aamir Khan.
Also, patrons will be treated to a comedy segment, compliments of the Cool Boyz. Admission to EC Chutney Night costs $1000 and tickets will be available at the venue. The event is promoted by Red Square Vodka. Showtime is 20:00h.
Strictly no firearms will be allowed and security will be tight.
