Former NCN CEO Fuzzy Sattaur passes

The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Communications Network (NCN), Mohamed “Fuzzy” Sattaur, passed away on Saturday afternoon.
Reports are Sattaur breathed his last breath at a city hospital after being ill.
Former President of Guyana and friend to Sattuar, Donald Ramotar after reflecting on the successes of the former CEO, said he will be sadly missed.

According to Ramotar, Sattaur was a very “optimistic fella and to work along with him was a joy because he was very easy to get along with. He was never lazy and was one of the first to volunteer for any type of work, any type of job to be done and from that point of view; it has always been a pleasure to work along with him”.
Sattaur was a member of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic and was also the Administrator of the Cheddi Jagan Research Centre.
The former CEO of NCN resigned from his post following a probe which was launch into the irregularities that were at the time ongoing at the facility.
