The 26-year-old Guyanese beauty who stands five feet, 10 inches tall is equipped with the necessary experience and training to compete in the international pageant slated for January 29, 2017, in the Philippines. The delegates will commence preliminary competition on January 12. 
Soyini Fraser hails from the “Garden City” of Georgetown, the Capital of Guyana. This stunning beauty is a media personality, an Executive Producer of her television series and a professionally trained dancer and actress.
She is an aspiring Christian Child Psychologist, and has been closely working with the elderly and children, who are less fortunate, by empowering them through mentorship. The beauty is recognised as a special ambassador by the Guyana Tourism Authority and plans to share the warmth of her Guyanese people with her sisters at Miss Universe.
However, on the path to the most prestigious titles in pageantry, Fraser has completed training with local pageant trainer, AT Dunn in the US.
In addition to making sure she is in tip top physical shape, she also practiced her interview skills.
“What makes the perfect interview is making the judges remember you out of 95 girls. Like you are the only country that they remember even though they spoke to about 100 people that day,” said Fraser. “That’s the goal.”
Fraser will also be wearing a competition gown donated by a store in the US. She is optimistic of being named in the top 16.
