Orealla stormed past Upper Corentyne Training College with a 9-nil victory on Monday at the Skeldon Community Centre.
Miggel Devair netted five times for the winners. Backed by a vocal crowd, Orealla opened the scoring in the eighth minute when André France took a corner and sent the ball to the far post where Devair made good use of it.
Four minutes later, it was Devair again who rocked the back of the net, this time with a shot from outside the 18-yard box which saw the goalkeeper Trevon Hope crumbling under pressure.
In the 22nd minute, Devair lost his main forward, Cameron Edwards, who was injured. He was replaced by Wilton Rodriguez, who could not get around the Upper Corentyne Training College as easily as Edwards did.
In the 29th minute, Celon France made it 3-0, scoring from within the 6-yard box. In the 37th minute, Devair made it a hat trick for himself as the team continued to pressure the Training College’s defence. Seven minutes later, Devair scored again this time after dribbling through the middle.
The second half started with Upper Corentyne Training College dominating the first five minutes and in the 48th minute, their goalkeeper Dellon Lowe touched the ball for the first time in the game.
Donelle France scored in the 64th minute and Devair in the 70th.  Desperate for a goal, defence player Ackime Sinclair scored against his own goalkeeper in the 78th minute. Veral Felix then sealed the issue with another goal in the 87th minute, allowing Orealla to secure a 9-0 victory.
Orealla will now meet the winner of JC Chandisingh today at the same venue for a quarter-final spot.   (Andrew Carmichael)
