One person has died and several others injured after a minibus toppled several times before slamming into a car in front of the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
Based on video footage released from a nearby surveillance camera, the Route 42 minibus can be seen approaching at a fast rate of speed as a canter truck attempted to switched lanes.
This caused a collision with the minibus flipping into a pole on the median along the roadway before colliding with a car travelling on the eastern side of the roadway.
Public spirited persons rushed to the aid of the injured persons but one person succumbed to his injures. (More details in Monday’s edition)
