Ten beauties from the Ancient County (Berbice) have been shortlisted to vie for the title of Miss Berbice 2018. The pageant which was launched last week in Berbice will see the 10 delegates being unveiled to the public on October 30, where they will be sashed by their sponsors at State House, New Amsterdam.
The pageant has moved away from being a one day affair and will now run for five days. After the sashing, the delegates will head to the Skeldon Heritage Resort for the swimsuit competition, followed by the costume extravaganza on November 18, at the Rose Hall Primary School.
The next event will take the form of a family fun day on November 21, at the All Saints Ground and finally, the grand coronation will be held on November 24 at the Albion Sports Complex Ground. On the night of the pageant, the delegates will showcase their talent, intelligence and elegance.
