13 races set for President’s Cup on November 29

A total purse of GY$21,750,000 and 13 high-profile races are on the cards at Rising Sun Turf Club on Sunday, November 29, for the President’s Cup.

13 races on the President’s Cup card

The top horses will be out for glory, and all eyes will be on Sand Pipes, the reigning Guyana Cup champion out of the Jumbo Jet Racing Stables. The contenders for the President’s Cup are of the highest quality, with I’m Sam of JS Racing Stables aiming to go one step further after finishing second at the Guyana Cup.
JS Racing Stables looks more formidable than ever after dominating the Champions Day stakes at Port Mourant last month.
The silent contender that tasted both Guyana Cup and President’s Cup success, Slingerz Racing Stables, will also return to racing after a quiet Guyana Cup back in August.
The feature race for the President’s Cup will run at one mile, and the total purse is GY$ 5,625,000. The top horse will walk away with GY$3,000,000 and the President’s Cup crown.
