17 confirmed for Stag Grass Track at Bath Settlement

The 2017 Stag Grass track Championships will make its presence felt at Bath Settlement, West Berbice this Sunday and a strong field of 17 riders have confirmed their participation.

The battle among the daredevils will be renewed on Sunday at Bath Settlement

According to Organiser, Sheik Yassin there will be five professional races, four novices and one open race; the professional riders will have five races at 12 laps each while the Novices will have 10 laps.
The leg of the championships will also debut two riders from Essequibo, twin brothers Kennard and Kenrick Spellen. After last month’s opening showpiece in Anna Regina, Steve Nobrega currently leads the points table with 100 points followed by Ravin Ramcoomar in a distant second. Nobrega on his Honda 125 had swept all races in both the professional and open category.
In addition ANSA McAL under the Stag Beer brand, Trophy Stall and R. Ganesh Mining Enterprise have pledged support of the championships.
