Two men are now in custody for allegedly robbing a female domestic worker of her motorcycle on Wednesday at Aranaputa Public Road, North Rupununi, Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo).

Based on information received, the incident occurred around 17:45h as the woman was heading home from work. After the incident, the woman raised an alarm, and the suspects were apprehended by public-spirited citizens and subsequently handed over to the Police.
The stolen motorcycle was recovered, along with a firearm suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime. The men are expected to make their court appearance shortly.
