2 busted with cocaine in Kitty

Two persons were arrested on Thursday after they were intercepted in Georgetown with a quantity of cocaine.
According to Police reports, at about 13:00h, Police ranks received information which they acted upon and in doing so, they intercepted a motor car on Duncan Street, Kitty, Georgetown.
A search was then conducted on the two persons and on the vehicle during which a bag containing 5466 grams of suspected cocaine was found in the car. the office subsequently arrested both the driver and the occupant of the vehicle who are assisting with the investigations.
