Play in this year’s Digicel nationwide Schools Football Championship will resume today, with four matches at two venues, commencing from 11:00h.
Over at No 5 Ground in West Berbice, No 8 Secondary will tackle Rosignol Secondary from 11:00h and this game will be followed by the clash between Fort Wellington and Fraser Educational Institute at 13:00h.
At Burnham Park in New Amsterdam, Berbice, Canje Secondary takes on New Amsterdam Secondary at 11:00h, before Berbice High School engages Berbice Educational Institute at 13:00h.
Over 120 schools are participating in this year’s event which is scheduled to end on July 31.
The winning school is set to receive $1 million to go towards a project of their choice, while second, third and fourth placed finishers will collect $700,000, $400,000 and $350,000 respectively, also to go towards ventures of the schools choice.
