Two men appeared on Monday at the Georgetown Magistrates Courts to answer charges of unlawful wounding.
Patrick Dotson, 26, of Plum Park, Greater Sophia, denied the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus. The charge stated that on April 18, 2019 at Sophia, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Ucine Joseph.
Septon Barton of 98 Plum Park, Sophia, Greater Georgetown, the other defendant, pleaded not guilty to the charge of unlawful wounding, which alleged that on April 18, 2019 at Sophia, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Patrick Dotson.
Prosecutor Adduni Innis did not object to either defendant being placed on bail, thus either defendant was placed on $40,000 bail.
This case will continue on July 15.
