2 seriously injured in Essequibo Coast accident

Two Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) young men were seriously injured following a motorcycle accident.

Injured are Lakeram Singh of Affiance Village and Krishna Singh of Airy Hall. The two, both 22 years old, are currently patients at the Suddie Hospital nursing injuries to their heads.
Reports are that the accident occurred at about 20:30h at Riverstown Village on Sunday evening.
According to reports out of Region Two, the pillion rider, Krishna Singh, and the rider, Lakeram Singh, were riding motorcycle CF 9313, proceeding north along the western side of Riverstown Public Road while the motor car, PXX 5401, owned by a 30-year-old, was proceeding south on the eastern side when the motorcycle collided with the left side of the car.
Both men fell on the roadway and received injuries to their heads. They were rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital in an unconscious state by the driver of the car.
