2 to represent Bahá’ís in Israel for Centenary observance

This year, Bahá’ís worldwide will observe the Centenary of the Ascension of `Abdu’l-Bahá, who is not a Manifestation or Messenger of God, but was appointed by Bahá’u’lláh as the Interpreter of His Revealed Word, His Successor and the perfect Exemplar of His teachings—as such `Abdu’l-Bahá (which means Servant of Bahá) is one of the three Central Figures of the Bahá’í Faith.

As such, two members of the National Spiritual Assembly (NSA) of the Bahá’ís of Guyana will join fellow believers from some 185 countries around the world for a special commemorative gathering during November 22-27, 2021, to be held in the Holy Land.
Hala Bassier and Jason Mohamed recently left for Israel during last week.
In observance of this event, members of the NSA paid a courtesy call on his Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali during which they presented him with a book specifically prepared for the Centenary Commemoration.
A specially commissioned film entitled “Exemplar” will be broadcast on the National Communications Network on November 26.
