In an effort to further strengthen healthcare delivery in Region 10, a new Regional Medical Distribution Centre constructed to the tune of $218,688,808 was commissioned on Thursday.
The facility marks another significant investment by the Government of Guyana to strengthen the country’s public health infrastructure and improve the availability and distribution of essential medical supplies.
The new facility is expected to enhance the storage, management, and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and other essential health commodities throughout Region 10, thereby supporting health facilities and improving the delivery of services to residents.
