$2M ATV set on fire at Big Creek, NWD

A Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) man received the shock of his life on Saturday after his $2 million All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) was set on fire by unknown persons.
Based on reports received, the vehicle belonging to Elton Ault was allegedly set on fire at around 06:00h at Big Creek Landing, North West District (NWD), Region One (Barima-Waini).
It was reported that Ault had left the motorcycle at his mother’s premises – behind her shop – and went to bed on Friday evening.
However, at around 06:00h the following morning, he was alerted by an individual that his bike was on fire. The man reportedly sprung out of bed and made his way to the area where the vehicle was parked.
Upon his arrival, he saw his motorcycle engulfed in flames. With the help of the man who alerted him, they managed to put out the fire.
Following the incident, a report was made to the Police and an investigation was launched. The man reportedly told Police that he was not sure of the motive for the incident while adding that he does not have enemies.
