3 charged with break and enter, granted bail

Three men who allegedly went on a break and enter spree early this month were on Wednesday brought before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Eon Thompson, 30; Courtney Sobosa, 33; and Marlon Williams, 38; a minibus driver, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore and all denied the charge read to them.
The charge alleged that between January 6-7, 2018, in Georgetown, they broke and entered a motorcar belonging to Kennette David and stole $153,000 worth of items.
The men also broke and entered the cars of Ricky Noods and Derick Henry and stole a total of $403,900 worth of items.
Police Prosecutor Simone Payne had no bail objections and this was granted in the sum of $25,000 on each count. The trio is expected to make their next court appearance on February 7.
