3 Pomeroon communities benefit from massive donation

Three riverine communities along the Pomeroon River, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), benefited from over 300 gifts and toys that were donated by Adamantium Holdings in collaboration with the Alfro Alphonso & Sons Enterprises, Charity, Essequibo.

Christmas is truly the time for giving and Adamantium Holdings has been doing just that as they continue to spread Christmas cheer to the less fortunate of Pomeroon.

Donations to the Pomeroon communities

The three communities that benefited from the goodwill of Adamantium Holdings are Kabakaburi, Karawab and St Monica. The items donated to the three communities were handed over in front of the Gaulin supermarket at Charity.
Toshao of Kabakaburi, Monty Simon received the donations on behalf of his community, while the Toshao of St Monica-Karawab, received on behalf of her communities.
At the handing over event of the items, Toshao of St Monica-Karawab, Eve Samuels expressed her gratitude by thanking the management of Adamantium Holdings for coming forward to make the donations. Samuels noted that not many children are fortunate to have their own toys for the holiday and that they will be excited with this kind gesture from Adamantium Holdings and Alfro Alphonso & Sons Enterprises.
Toshao Monty Simon also shared similar sentiments and said the children will be very excited with their gift. He thanked the company for making such a generous donation.
Operations manager of the company, Haiman Beharry said its always an honour for the company to give back to the people of St Monica-Karawab, and Kabakaburi. He further added that the company will continue to give back to society.
The company also donated over 200 toys to the region to be distributed to the less fortunate, a drive which was initiated by the regional chairperson, Vilma Da Silva.
The company recently held its 5th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Charity on the Essequibo Coast. (G2)
