The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Friday evening issued wanted bulletins for three men for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting of a Cuban national outside a business establishment in Queenstown, Georgetown.
Wanted are 33-year-old Olofi De Santos of Bagotville, West Bank Demerara (WBD); 28-year-old Jermaine Castello of Vigilance, East Coast Demerara (ECD); and 36-year-old Rodrick Thomas of William Street, Kitty, Georgetown.

Previously, the Police had stated that four other men were wanted for the shooting that led to the death of 23-year-old Cuban national Dainier Vegas Infante, who worked as a janitor at the business place and lived in Alexander Village, Georgetown. It was reported that the shooting incident occurred between June 30, 2026, and July 1, 2026, when four males were seen arriving in the area shortly before the shooting. One of the suspects, who was armed with a handgun, reportedly approached two men who were seated outside the business place and engaged them in conversation. Investigators said Infante later exited the building and walked toward the group when the armed suspect allegedly discharged a round in his direction. The Cuban national was struck and fell to the ground.
The gunman reportedly escaped in a motor vehicle along Foreshaw Street, while the other suspects fled separately.

As investigations intensified, ranks of the GPF Command Centre reportedly identified and intercepted a motor vehicle believed to have been linked to the fatal shooting. A 45-year-old female manager of Little Diamond, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was subsequently arrested and released while the vehicle suspected to have been used in the shooting was impounded.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the three men is being urged to contact the nearest Police station or call 911, 227-1611, 268-2328, 268-2329, 226-3411, 225-8196, or 227-1159.
