$30M in prizes to be won in GTT’s Christmas campaign
The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has announced a massive campaign for the Christmas holiday season, where a whopping $30 million will be given back in cash and prizes to customers.
The official launch of the “Together We Celebrate” Christmas campaign was announced on Friday at the Pegasus Hotel, and will run until January 8, 2022.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Home and Fixed Solutions, Eshwar Thakurdin explained that there will be random daily and weekly drawings across the 10 administrative regions. New and existing customers can enter for a chance to win data, fibre, credit, minutes, smart televisions, shopping vouchers, MMG credit, and accessories.
“Each week, a randomly chosen customer will win between $50,000 to $500,000 in cash and prizes. Daily winners will win free credit, free data, grocery vouchers, and cash vouchers. I think this is exciting and it sets the tone for a great celebration we’re about to have this Christmas with GTT,” the CEO related.
For a person to enter the promotion, they can either pay any of the GTT bills in full and on time; top up $1000 or more; sign up for GTT Fibre; or purchase a new mobile phone or sim from any GTT store.
When a person signs up for Fibre50, Fibre100, or Fibre150, they are eligible for free installation and the first month free. With registration for MMG, a person can win a 50-inch smart TV.
“All of our customers, new and existing, those on GTT mobile, GTT Fibre, DSL, landline or MMG are eligible for weekly prizes. Just continue to enjoy our services and you can win cash and prizes this Christmas.”
Chief Operations Officer of Business Solutions, Orson Ferguson said this is the company’s way of giving back to the community. He assured that the company is continuing its commitment to the robust network and reliability throughout the season and into the new year.
“Despite 2021 being one of the most challenging years in recent memory, Christmas gives us a reason to celebrate, a reason to hope for a brighter tomorrow together. It’s in our tradition to show appreciation to our fellow man, and especially our valued customers by coming together to share gifts of our own.”
He added, “Christmas with GTT is worth celebration, not because of our gifts and what they symbolise but because we do it together. Together we celebrate this holiday and all that it stands for and we celebrate the work that we’ve been doing that will benefit our country now and in the future.”
