A 27-year-old man, Carlos Hackett, was on Tuesday handed a 48-month jail sentence for breaking into a Policewoman’s home.

He appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond-Golden Grove Magistrates’ Courts, where he pleaded guilty to the charge.
Police said that Hackett was arrested on Sunday for break and enter and larceny committed on the dwelling house of Police Constable Carlene Singh, 38.
