5 arrested following ammo find in Essequibo

Five persons are now in Police custody following the discovery of four live rounds of .32 ammunition in a house at Riverstown, Essequibo Coast, on Saturday.
Based on reports received, Police acting on information went to the house where searches were conducted on three properties, during which the ammunition was discovered hidden in one of the houses. Five men who were at the house at the time were taken into custody and are being grilled by law enforcement. Police are of the belief that the bullets found may have a matching weapon. The lawmen are continuing their investigation into the discovery.
