74-Y-O Guyanese man dies in boat accident in Suriname

Alfred R, a 74-year-old Guyanese man, died on Friday afternoon after falling from an iron staircase into a boat at the Coast Traders premises in Nieuwe Haven, Suriname. His lifeless body was discovered by his colleagues.
According to Waterkant News, Surinamese police reported that the victim sustained head injuries which are believed to have caused his death at the scene.
The New Haven police had responded promptly to the incident, and the man had been taken to the hospital, where he was confirmed to have died. His body was then transported to the morgue for further examination and post-mortem examination.
