8 to vie for GPF Miss Youth Ambassador title

Eight young ladies will take to the stage of the National Cultural Centre on Saturday evening as they vie for the title of Miss Youth Ambassador of the Guyana Police Force (GPF).

The delegates in the Miss Youth Ambassador Pageant

The contestants are Nicola Alleyne representing Alberttown Operation Youth Group; Kizieya Phillips of the Albouystown Faith Base Youth Club; Alia Liverpool of the Mocha Rising Star; Alia Beverney of Central Georgetown Youth Group; Asia Glasgow representing the Good Success Craig Youth Group; Collyann Primo of the East Ruimveldt Youth Group; Tamara Gordon representing Circuit Circuitville, Yorrowakbra West; and Shania Carter of Tiger Bay.
The pageant is part of the Guyana Police Force’s social crime prevention strategy where pageantry is used to empower and reform young ladies in the communities.
The objective is to mould and built the delegates’ esteem and confidence to create a positive change within their communities. The pageant is slated to commence at 18:00h. Admission to the event is absolutely free.
