Guyana is set to return to the prestigious Miss Universe competition this year with eight delegates vying for the chance to represent the Guyana. The delegates will be officially unveiled to the public on September 1, 2023, at the Sashing Ceremony billed for the Guyana Marriott. 
This will be followed by the grand coronation the following day at the same venue. However, the delegates vying for the title were selected from the various regions in Guyana and are expected to bring their unique culture, style and personality to the stage.
The pageant is being coordinated by a team of fashion experts led by US-based award-winning pageant director, Teri Brown-Walker as the new director.
The crowned queen will represent Guyana at the International Pageant billed for El Salvador on 18 November 2023.
