Joanna Archer, currently the 800m champion and a student of West Demerara Secondary School, got an added boost Tuesday when she received sponsorship from SMALTA which is distributed by ANSA McAL Trading Ltd.
Brand Coordinator Sean Abel hands over sponsorship to aspiring athlete Joanna Archer
The aspiring young athlete is slated to compete in the South American Juniors Games which will be hosted in Guyana on June 3 and 4.
Sean Abel, Brand Coordinator, said that, “We are happy to assist such a talented individual who I know will make us proud not only at these games but beyond.”
Archer is also a CSEC student, who is sitting eight subjects.
