Tucber Park’s Gevon Schultz has been appointed captain of the Berbice Under-19 team to participate in the Guyana Cricket Board’s (GCB’s) Under-19 tournament, tentatively set for February 10.

Blairmont’s Seon Glasgow will serve as Schultz’s deputy for the upcoming tournament.
Glasgow and Schultz had both represented Guyana youth teams on previous occasions.
The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) will announce the rest of the team shortly. Level three Coach Winston Smith is the Coach of the team, while Neil Rudder is the Manager.
According to selector Leslie Solomon, the Berbice team is expected to travel on February 9 with a 14-man squad. Six players will be on standby.
