Home News Duo gets bail on ganja possession charges
Twenty-two-year-old Aaron December, a labourer of Block ‘C’ Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara (EBD) was on Thursday slapped with a possession of cannabis charge.
He appeared at the Golden Grove Magistrates Court before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman where he pleaded not guilty to having in his possession 40.4 grams of Cannabis.
As such, he was granted bail in the sum of $40,000 and the matter was adjourned to January 23, 2024.
In addition, Mosasa Moses, 39, a businessman of Mocha, East Bank Demerara (EBD) was arrested on Wednesday with 27 grams of ganja in his possession. However, he was charged and appeared before Principal Magistrate, Judy Latchman at the Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Moses pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted $40,000 bail. He will also make his next court appearance on January 23, 2024.
