Family members of the two West Coast Berbice (WCB), Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice) fishermen who have been missing since Wednesday, along with officers of the Marine Department of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) and the Coast Guard, continued their search on Friday for the men.
On Wednesday, 17-year-old Visual Parmanand and 32-year-old Daniel Inchanally both of Cotton Tree, WCB left Crabwood Creek (CWC), at around 15:30h on Monday, and were expected to sail along Guyana’s Atlantic coast to the estuary of the Berbice River, where they were to moor the boat at the Three-Door landing site at D’Edward village.
They have not been seen since.
