Every once in a while, a news item bursts on the scene that gladdens the heart. One such item was the impending prestigious OAS Award to our own Dr Tracey Bovell, for good practices in women’s leadership.
The genesis of her nomination was founded in the distinguished, excellent, and compassionate leadership she provided to the treatment and care of COVID-19 patients in Guyana.
Dr Bovell is a worthy candidate of the award and recognition bestowed on her, as all Guyana is proud of a fine daughter of the soil, a true woman of worth.
