narayan Ramdhani’s career just got better. The 2015 national Junior Sportsman of the Year has been awarded a five-year scholarship to Vancouver, Canada, and the badminton star’s rise has captured the attention of Vishnu Persaud and Associates.
In an effort to aid his studies, the company recently presented a Lenovo laptop to the teenager, as he prepares to embark on the scholarship in September.
Ramdhani, who is the Caribbean highest ranked junior player, was offered the scholarship by Shuttle Sport Badminton Academy.
Ramdhani said while he is joyful about receiving the scholarship, he is now even motivated to give of his best
during the next five years in Canada.
The Guyana Badminton Association, the local governing body for the sport, said it is grateful for the donation by Vishnu Panday and Associates, as it is a clear indication of their recognition for the achievements of the country’s sportsmen and women.
