Accused bicycle thief remanded

Forty-seven-year-old carpenter, Mark Mangal, of Hadfield Street, Lodge, Georgetown was on Wednesday denied bail for allegedly stealing a pedal cycle.

Warston’s wife told Magistrate Fabayo Azore that the defendant is in the habit of constantly threatening her husband whenever he receives bail for offences.
The man however rejected the woman’s statements and pled not guilty when the charge was read to him. He was remanded.
