Action billed for Sunday at Den Amstel Ground

The Hamilton Green 83rd Birth Anniversary Inter-Ward Football Cup kicks off its quarterfinal rounds on Sunday at the Den Amstel Community Centre ground.
The 9-a-side will see Poudeoryen FC tackling Plaisance from 14:00hs while Pit Crane battle Soesdyke in game two which is set for 14:30hs. Uitvlugt will then lock horns with Sara Lodge from 15:00hs as Crane Rovers and Tigerbay duke it out from 15:30hs in the fourth game.
The semi-finals followed by the finals will follow upon conclusion of the opening matches. Meanwhile an exhibition encounter will see four teams doing battle for the Brian Tiwari Trophy and $20,000 in a straight knockout fixture.
Bagotville and Wales will start things off from 13:00hs while home team Den Amstel plays Zeelugt from 13:30hs, followed by the finals. The winner and runner-up cash prizes of $70,000 and $30,000 respectively were donated compliments of Banks DIH Limited.
Meanwhile, the Highest Goal Scorer will receive a table set compliments of China Trading, while runner-up will pocket a ‘Lazy boy Chair’ from A.H.& L. Kissoon with all trophies donated by Trophy Stall.
